There's exposed bedrock everywhere on Six mile Creek ,  and there's still lots of virgin gravels in the banks .
There's almost 1 mile of hand stacked tailings piles along the creek , Most of the rocks in this canyon are small enough to handle . . There is quad accessable trail leading up here , with several old cabin sites to camp on .  This is very rough terrain ,
Now more trails into other areas !
Old hardrock mines and several other veins, are still feeding Six Mile Creek !
This area was worked in the old days , then forgotten about.  All these claims are well worth the  short hike in.
