Ron Newman bought his Jobe 2" Highbanker last week and couldn't wait to get it up and running . He assembled it at home in 25 minutes . When he got it to the claim , it was set up and running in 10 minutes .
He worked over 2 yards of material in about 4 hours . By then he had a retaining pond , big enough to let the sediment settle , before flowing back into the river . 1st picture is how it looked the next morning .

Mike adding to retainer dam .
Ron hit bedrock already , so he's widening his hole .
He'll process all the overburden 1st , then clean the bedrock .
Alls well , keep digging .
Ron's moving this way when finished with the first hole .
This is Ron's second year of prospecting , he's very happy with his new highbanker , and the amount of material that it processed in such a short time . He found a lot of fine gold when he finished up this weekend , no nuggets . He is very happy to know that this highbanker will hold the small gold .He also knows the nuggets are on and in the bedrock . Ron plans on being at Gold Flat every weekend this summer , Come on out and join him !
